These Terms of Service govern your use of createthesound.com and any digital products purchased through the site. By accessing the website or purchasing any product, you agree to these terms.

CreateTheSound is operated by Lars Hellingsrud.

2. Products

CreateTheSound sells digital sound kits for music producers. Products include but are not limited to preset banks, drum kits, MIDI files, loop kits, one-shot samples, FX processing chains, and DAW templates.

All products are delivered digitally. No physical items are shipped.

3. License

When you purchase a product from CreateTheSound, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the included content in your own music productions.

MIDI files and vocal kits are royalty-free. You may use them in commercial and non-commercial music productions without additional clearance.

Loop kits are not royalty-free. If you wish to use loops from a CreateTheSound loop kit in a commercial release, you must contact contact@createthesound.com for clearance before release.

Preset banks are tools for sound design and music production. They do not contain copyrighted audio and can be used freely in your productions.

You may not resell, redistribute, or share the product files in their original form. You may not include the raw files in any competing sample pack, preset bank, or sound kit. You may not claim the sounds, presets, or MIDI files as your own original creations for resale as standalone products.

4. Payments

All payments are processed through our payment provider. Prices are listed in USD. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout depending on your location.

5. Account and Email

By providing your email address through our website, you consent to receiving emails from CreateTheSound including product delivery, promotional offers, and production tips. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on createthesound.com including text, graphics, logos, and product designs is the property of CreateTheSound and may not be reproduced without permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

CreateTheSound provides digital products as-is. We are not responsible for any issues arising from the use of our products in your productions, including but not limited to compatibility issues with your specific software or hardware setup.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
